Revit MEP Intermediate Training - Piping, Plumbing, and Electrical

Autodesk® Revit® MEP Building Information Modeling (BIM) software for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineers supports more accurate and efficient building systems design projects from concept through construction.

 Design building systems more accurately using coordinated, consistent information inherent in the                   intelligent Revit MEP model.

 Analyze for efficiency with integrated analysis earlier in the process.

 Keep documentation coordinated and consistent with parametric change management technology.

 Deliver 3D models and documentation to support the building lifecycle.

The Revit MEP Intermediate – Piping, Plumbing, and Electrical course is intended to introduce students to the software's user interface and the basic electrical and plumbing/piping components that make Revit MEP a powerful and -exible engineering modeling tool. The objective is to familiarize students with the tools necessary to create, document, and print the parametric model. This class is a full three days of training,

where the examples and practices are designed to take the students through the basics of a full MEP project from linking in an architectural model to construction documents

Duration:

2 Days at training location.

Prerequisites:

Complete the Revit MEP Basics(2 days) class, or equivalent Revit MEP or Revit Architecture training course.

Topics Include:

 Working with the Piping module to add mechanical equipment as well as creating and analyzing hydraulic         piping systems.

 Working with fire protection systems.

 Working with fixtures, piping systems, and analysis tools in the Plumbing module.

 Working with components, circuits, cable tray, and conduits in the Electrical module.

 Creating and annotating construction documents.

 Detailing in Revit MEP.
